New Smaller Size Template - Check out the gorgeous samples made from Karen Schwenzig (Darla's sister)! (You can thank her for the new smaller size with a Fussy Cut Frame, too.)
These No Slip Pot Holder Templates are so versatile~ Just check out my video to see other fun projects besides Pot Holders!
Simple Pot Holder & Other Fun Stuff!
This video only featured the original size and no Fussy Cut Frame. I've now got a new Smaller Size plus Fussy Cut Frames for both.
Of course, you can make the traditional pot holder with a pocket as shown here (daisy sample made by my friend, Lisa!). You can add binding or make it easy and sew right sides together then turn. Add a hanger tab if you like. Or leave the pocket off and turn it into a hot pad or a trivet. Add a pocket on one side and use the optional Fussy cut Frame to fussy cut a pretty or cute or funny part of your fabric for the back.
Choose from:
- Original Pot Holder - 7 1/8" W x 9 1/4" T
- New Smaller Size - 7 1/8" x 7 1/8"
- Original Pot Holder + Fussy Cut Frame
- New Smaller Size + Fussy Cut Frame
- *Original Fussy Cut Frame
- *New Smaller Fussy Cut Frame
- Bundles to get the best deal!
*Fussy Cut Frames do not work alone. They work with the Template and let you feature where you want to place your fabrics. Karen's samples highlight this so well!
The Pot Holder templates feature my Grey No Slip Backing. The grey is a bit thinner & even 'grippier' to grab your fabric. This makes cutting fast and easy so you can have lots of fun with this style~
Check out my cute Doggie Treat Pouch that I made from the original size for both the back and the pocket. I added a strap and cute dangle with hardware to add keys and attach to your purse, backpack or whatever.
My friend Darla made several samples including a pet mesh zipper case, a roll up jewelry case with a snapped piece for rings and a vinyl zipper case using pre-quilted fabric.
Check out my favorite from her Pot Holder Template projects - her zippered tool case. The pictures don't do it justice! For this intermediate project, change the fabrics and this case will become every little boy's favorite to hold their Matchbox Cars or action figures. Girls will love it to hold all of their goodies!
Use the original template to make a cute sleeping bag/bed for your little one's stuffed animals and dolls. I stuffed my little monkeys in the daisy pot holder and the zipper tool case but you get the idea!
These templates would make great re-usable snack bags and some adorable little girl purses and even a hand sewing tools case.....!
