This little iron is one of my favorite tools. That’s saying a lot since I don’t like to iron!
I have 1 at my big ironing table & another next to my sewing machine with a 12" x 18" Rectangle Wool Mat & a piece of my No Slip Backing underneath to keep everything from slipping.
Most people think little irons are just for traveling – not so. I use this to do so many things my big iron could never do. It gets into all of those tight spaces & areas that need special attention. It’s perfect when stitching & turning all of my bags, bottles, totes, baskets, etc.
BTW – make yourself a little mitt from my Shorty Template to wear so you can make a fist inside your project & iron on the outside without getting burned.
This is, by far, one of my most valuable & useful tools!
Although this is a steam iron, I’ve never used this feature. I like starch but I also keep a Continuous Mist Spray Bottle nearby. Actually, I have 2! One is filled with water & the other is filled with a mixture of Best Press & water.
These Mist Bottles give a light, consistent mist & I never have to worry about any issues with any of my irons leaking, dripping, or spitting.
A few details on this iron:
- Small, compact size fits nicely in the palm of your hand
- Offers variable temperature & heats up quickly
- Stays hot (so don’t forget to turn it off or unplug it!)
- Non-stick sole plate
- On-demand steam (I use my Mist Bottle instead)
- 7.5 ft power cord
- Includes travel bag & fill cup
- 2 year limited warranty
Be sure to check out my Continuous Mist Spray Bottles. They work really well with this little iron - & any iron you have. No need to add water to your iron & you'll get much better pressing results!
Important NOTE: Previous versions of this iron were recalled & pulled from the market so I removed them from my website. (I still use my two & have had no problems.)
It took a while for Steamfast to offer a new version but it's finally here! Rest assured that this one is safe. It even has a 2-year limited warranty.
