Magnetic Snaps

Want to elevate the look of your bags, purses, wallets and more?  These Magnetic Snaps not only give a nice, professional look but they're faster and easier than buttons and buttonholes and other closure methods!

Whichever you choose, each Magnetic Snap Set is Silver/Nickel in color and contains 1 Male, 1 Female and 2 metal backing washers. 

18mm = 3/4" diameter

14mm = 9/16" diameter

These are so simple to attach.   I hope to film a video but, in the meantime, there are lots available online for reference.

Steps:

• Determine the placement of the snap on your fabric.
• Start with either half of the snap - the Male or the Female. 
• Place 1 Washer where you'd like Snap to be.
• Use a marker to mark the 2 slits. 
• Remove the Washer and carefully cut 2 small slits just large enough to get the prongs through.
• A Seam Ripper, sharp scissors or sharp tool will work. 
• Insert the prongs and press so that it's sitting flat on fabric. 
• Make slits larger if needed.
• Place washer on top of the prongs. 
• Press the prongs down flat going to the outside of the snap.
• Repeat the process with the other half of the Snap.
