Libby Bird Templates and Starter Kit

Introducing the Libby Bird~

Read below to learn more about the Libby Bird.....

With your 1st order placed, I’ll include a free Libby Bird Starter Kit.  My current version of the Starter Kit includes several handouts, ribbon or labels, embellishments and the #3 Libby Bird Template.

I'll continue to make changes to it from time to time so you may receive something different. 

If you'd like to choose several sizes, I've got them available here for $1 each.  If you purchase more than 1 Libby Bird Template, I'll include 1 Libby Bird Starter Kit and the additional Libby Bird Templates. You can find the Printouts on my website and pick and choose which handouts you want to print.

You'll see the embellishments are 'crafty' beads and buttons, jute or cording that you probably have in stock. 

If you'd like a Libby Bird and/or Starter Kit but don't want to place an order, just call me at 850-449-0259 and I'll send you one for FREE.

If you've placed an order and would like a particular size or several sizes, just add that to the “Special Instructions” Box if you're ordering other items.

I'm offering them here in a variety of sizes in case you'd like to get another size. 

I've added Fussy Cut Frames to my Libby Bird Listings so you can feature particular parts of your fabric, if you like. 

(NOTE: The Fussy Cut Frames don't work by themselves.  They work in combination with the Libby Bird Template.)

Do what makes your heart sing!

The Libby Bird Template was created in honor of my mother, Libby.

She was truly one of a kind. Anyone that knew her would say her greatest gifts were her encouraging words, unique compliments, beautiful smile and sincere interest she took in others. 

She passed in 2022 but I still hear from others how a chance encounter with her made their day a little brighter and encouraged them to pass along her message of kindness, hope and positivity.

In these tough days, her message is harder to find.

So I created the Libby Bird as a creative way to keep it and her spirit alive!

My hope is that you’ll stitch up a Libby Bird or (20!) and share them with someone you know or leave for a stranger to find. 

I hope you'll post pictures of the Libby Birds you made & tell us about them.

I also hope that anyone that receives a Libby Bird will tell us about it, too. 

It's always fun to find something unexpected - and sometimes it's just what someone needed!

Your Libby Bird can be simple or elaborate; stuffed or flat; made into a post card or greeting card or even crafted out of paper with crayons and paints.

My mother often ended her correspondence with, “Do what makes your heart sing!”, and I hope you'll include it with any Libby Bird you might make.

BTW - If you follow me on YouTube, you might have seen bunches of Libby Birds made my friend, Joni Londo.  She sent a goodie box full of Winner Designs projects & I did a little video to show them off. You'll see several ways that she stitched them up.  I always love seeing what fun takes Joni puts on everything!
