Have you seen the fun projects that Darla's made using Dish Drying Mats?  What a fun material to add to your stash!  It's literally the outside fabric, the lining fabric & the interfacing all in one. They hold their shape better than any other 'stabilizer' around. If you're new to this, check out the videos listed at the end where we've used this 'material'. We've used them to make Dumplings, Open Wide Pouches, Storage Pods, Zipper Pouches & Tote Bags.  Even so, I feel like we've just scratched the surface ~!

When we 1st started making projects from Dish Drying Mats, I went a bit nuts.  Every time I saw them, I bought them!  My overbuying has come in handy since these don't always come back in stock once they're gone.

You may already have some.  You can find them at dollar stores, big box stores, Marshalls, Home Goods, etc.  But I've found that it's hit or miss so I decided to add my wide selection here!

For some styles, I've got lots. For others, it may be my last one. Since these vary in size, I've added an approximate size. I've also photographed them to show you the front & back since the back will be the lining & will show.

Check out our videos to see how to cut and whether you need 1 or 2 mats for the project you'd like.  If you're not sure, call or text me at 850-449-0259 & I can let you know if the mat you'd like will work for your project.

I don't have many mats that are directional but for those that are, I tried to photograph it so you could see.  For some projects, this will make a huge difference!  Again, if you're not sure, just ask~

If you've shopped for these, you know some are thicker than others.  Thicker ones (usually the expensive ones!) are harder to work with & not all machines can handle the bulk. Plus, thicker ones just don't work as well.

All of these are a good thickness to use. Some have a 'bumpy' back which makes it a little harder to sew but they should still work.  I've added 'with bumps' in the title so you can decide if you want to try it.
