BTW - If you already own my 8" Circle Template, you can pick up the Pocket Template by itself or in combination with the 8" Circle Fussy Cut.  If you don't own the circle yet, I've given you several options to choose from.

This is a perfect scrappy project since you only need fabric scraps just bigger than 8".  For your inner material, Insul-Brite or Insul-Fleece provides heat resistance.  You can use either or in combination with batting or even fleece or flannel.  Lots of options!

As for the front & back fabrics, cotton fabrics work best for handling hot items.

Make your own binding or use pre-packaged double fold binding.
