My new friend, Pat Hahn, sent me this cute gnome Car Trash Holder.  These are perfect for home organization, too! 

The 10" x 10" is the perfect size to hold a plastic doggie poop bag.

If you've got sticky, yucky stuff, the doggie poop bag can easily be tossed with no worry about having to clean your cute Car Trash Holder. Leave the roll of baggies in your glove compartment; you're ready to go.

Try out all the various sizes of plastic bags - or better yet, use up all of those you've got stashed that you didn’t want to throw away.

To Use:

• Place one on the back of each headrest for those in the back seat.
• Place one on the front passenger headrest if you don't have passengers. Lengthen the strap to hang down lower.
• If you've got a stick shift, place one over it for easy access.
• Don’t like plastics bag? Create this out of vinyl or a wipeable fabric.

For the Strap:

• To make a fabric strap, I like my 3” x 24” Ruler. The 24” length will cut the width of your fabric.  This gives 2 straps that finish at 1.5” by 22” which is plenty long to be adjusted.
• For a quick strap, use .75” or 1” webbing.  Or you could re-use a strap from a bag, purse, tote, etc.
• A Quick Release Buckle or a Swivel Clasp will help make whatever strap adjustable in length.
• But you could just sew the ends into the holder.
• You can add a snap, a clip or Velcro.

But don’t leave these for just your car!  They are perfect for any age to get organized.  Create a variety of sizes to store toys, tools, make-up, school, office, craft or sewing supplies.  Add a strap or not.  Beef up the sides by changing out your interfacings and add a sturdy base to help.
