Box Bag Templates and Fussy Cut Frames

This new page combines lots of options for one of my favorite templates - the Box Bag!

This template has long been a favorite of mine and yours, too!  That's why it's now available in 3 sizes:

1. Small - 5" x 7 1/4"
2. Original - 7 1/2" x 11"
3. Large - 10 1/2" x 15 3/8"

And each has an Optional Fussy Cut Frame to make sure you get fabric placement just where you want!

This house shaped template can be used in a number of ways. It’s a BOX and a BAG template!

Make a BOX:  Cut 4 ‘houses’ from outer fabric and stitch a ‘roof to a roof’.  Repeat for the other 2 ‘roofs’ then stitch those together. Then stitch up the sides. Repeat with lining fabric. You’ll have 2 ‘boxes’ to stitch together. You’ve got a BOX!  Add handles, straps, drawstrings. Play with interfacings.  So many possibilities!

Make a BAG: Cut 2 'houses' - 1 from outer fabric; 1 from lining fabric.  Use the template etched line and cut 2 squares – 1 from outer; 1 from lining. These 4 pieces turn into the quickest, easiest bag.  Plus, you’ve got 3 sizes to choose from!  Want to make this even better?  Use one of my Box It; Square It Templates to easily add a boxed bottom.
