This started as one set of two templates - the Tie Me Box/Bag and the 2 1/2" x 9" Ruler for the Tie.

These 2 make a cute box/bag to hold a special gift (candle, cookies, plants, even doggie treats!). 

In my 2 videos (links below) I showed several versions of this using the tie - and not using the tie. 

I also showed a paper pattern that I combined with the base to create a cute bunny bag.  After lots of requests, the Floppy Bunny Ear is now a template!  

I also showed a project where I fussy cut 2 cute bunnies from a purple towel and decided that a Fussy Cut Template would be useful.  But I took it a step further....

Instead of offering just a Fussy Cut Frame, I decided to try out a new way to use my templates!

With the new larger Tie Me Template you can cut a larger Tie Me Box/Bag.

Or flip it over so that the gray side faces up and use that piece as a Fussy Cut Frame!

It’s more than a two-fer!

Options with these templates:

1. Use smaller white or black Tie Me Box/Bag Template with Ruler to make a cute little box/bag that ties.
2. Use smaller white or black Tie Me Box/Bag without ruler and tie with ribbon or webbing.
3. Use smaller white or black Tie Me Box/Bag without ruler and fold over the tabs then sew them down and thread through rope or twine to hang. (Add a plant!)
4. Use smaller white or black Tie Me Box/Bag with new Floppy Bunny Ear Template to make a cute bunny box/bag.
5. Use new larger Black Tie Me Box/Bag Template to create a larger box/bag.
6. Use new larger Black Tie Me Box/Bag Template for fussy cutting. Flip larger piece over so gray side is facing up, find favorite parts of fabric, then position smaller white or black Tie Me Box/Bag Template inside.  Remove larger piece and cut around smaller template.

Whatever you buy, this Tie Me Bag bag or a box has a strap (or ear!) on each side to tie in the middle or lay out open. Watch my video for inspiration and adaptations.  

Rather than 1 template, this comes as 2 templates.  Place the straight ruler (9" x 2.5") at the top of the boxed template to create the straps or use just the one boxed template as I'll show in my upcoming video.  

The 2.5” x 9” ruler is a useful for so many other projects in different ways!  It even has 1/2" markings for ease of use.

All templates, even the Fussy Cut Frame, have my No Slip Backing making cutting easier and faster and better! 

The bottoms have Cut Marks to easily create consistent and quick boxed bottoms.

This is a fun twist on your typical drawstring gift bag!
