You probably know of the Japanese Knot Bag - and you might have even made one! 

I have, too, but when I used it, I always struggled to find my things inside.  After creating lots of templates with boxed corners, I thought it might work well with the Knot Bag.  And it does!

This template makes a smaller Knot Bag with Boxy Corners.  It's the perfect size to carry your necessities.  If you're going out to dinner, a night on the town, dancing or just running errands, this is the solution for you!  You can easily keep it on your arm out of the way.

Approx. Finished Size:  Bottom to Handle Top: 12", Bottom to Side Top: 6", Bottom 5 1/2" Square, Opening 9"

My No Sip Backing makes cutting accurate, consistent and easy.  Plus, the Cut Marks mean that you can create boxed corners easily and accurately.  

In my video, I show you how to use the template and create 2 additional styles of Knot Bags that don't have the boxed corners.  That's a nice option to have!

I also show the Grommet-Style Knot Bag.  Rather than feed the longer fabric strap into the shorter strap, you'll use the Grommet Placement Tool to add a Curtain Grommet where the shorter strap will be.  Then the long strap feed easily through the grommet.  So cute & dresses this little bag up!  (Grommet size used 1 9/16" or 3.96 cm)
