If you like saving time in the kitchen without sacrificing results, then you'll love my new Microwave Bag Set of Templates.

With this set, you'll be able to make 2 styles of bags for your Microwave that will make life a lot easier - and even more fun!

  • Love baked potatoes but not the time it takes to bake them in the oven?  Corn on the cob is a favorite but I hate waiting for the water to boil!  If you've tried these in the microwave, then you know results are less than impressive.
    • Make my versatile Potato Bag!
  • Don't trust those little greasy bags of popcorn and would like a healthier version?
    • Make my fun Popcorn Bag!
  1. Potato Bag - Quickly and easily stitch up a bag to make perfect baked potatoes (sweet potatoes, too!), corn on the cob, steamed veggies, rolls (and more).  The combination of 100% cotton batting and steam makes everything just right!
  2. Popcorn Bag - Make a few simple changes that you'll see in my video to make a Popcorn Bag that will pop great tasting, chemical free, fresher and healthier popcorn. This popcorn is cheaper and you get to control the amount of butter, oil and seasonings you want on your popcorn. The Popcorn Bag also has a boxed bottom so it stands up when it's full!

My latest videos show how to make 2 styles of bags to take advantage of your microwave without sacrificing results. You’ll see me use several templates so I've got these purchase options available:

  1. Microwave Bag Template (check out Darla's cute Easter Bag!)
  2. Microwave Bag Template, Strap Template, 1.5"/3.5" Box It, Square It, Place It Template
  3. Microwave Bag Template, Strap Template
  4. Microwave Bag Template, 1.5"/3.5" Box It, Square It, Place It Template
  5. Strap Template, 1.5"/3.5" Box It, Square It, Place It Template
  6. 3 Ruler Work Rulers: 1” x 10”, 1.25” x 10”, 1.5” x 10”
  7. Microwave Bag Template plus 3 Ruler Work Rulers

All of my Winner Designs Templates have my No Slip Backing which makes cutting accurate, fast, and easy.  That means your projects will be easier to sew and you’ll get better results!

  1. The Microwave Bag Template: perfect size for both of bags. Cutting is a breeze. Easily adjust for a bigger or smaller bag.  You’ll find other uses for this template, too!
  2. The 2" x 5" Strap Template: perfect strap/handle (lots of other projects, too!). The bag will be super-hot & full of steam so the handle makes it easier & safer to remove from the microwave.
  3. The 1.5"/3.5" Box It, Square It, Place It Template: easily create perfect, consistent boxed bottoms.  They're fast & just the right size.  (You'll love both sizes for other projects.)
  4. The 3 Rulers for Ruler Work make any straight stitch quilting so much easier! These are really useful when making the Potato bag (I love them for my Tortilla Warmer, too!).

These templates are so versatile; you’ll find lots of other uses besides the Potato Bag & Popcorn Bag. The Strap Template, the 1.5”/3.5” Box It… Template & the 3 Ruler Work Rulers are ideal as placement guides for so many other projects, too.  If you love scrappy projects, you’ll be putting them all to good use!

To make it even better, I have 4 Handouts for you:

  1. Making the Potato Bag
  2. Making the Popcorn Bag
  3. Using Your Potato Bag
  4. Using Your Popcorn Bag

These make great gifts or as an item to sell. Planning to sell?   Print my “Using Your Potato Bag” Handout or the "Using Your Popcorn Bag" Handout on pretty paper and include it with the bag.

NOTES:

  1. Purchase is for template(s) alone - not the popcorn or potato bag.
  2. All Templates are engraved with text.  I've used a metallic marker to highlight them for photos and video.  They DO NOT come highlighted.

You can purchase the Metallic Markers here: Metallic Template Marker – Winner Designs (winner-designs.myshopify.com)
