These Covers were a request from Darla's sister, Karen Schwenzig, who’s making these to sell! Karen made all but the black & yellow lemon samples shown here. (Those were made by me.) Thanks, Karen!
These covers are perfect when you want to:
- eliminate waste (saran wrap, foil, plastic containers)
- make unique gifts to give or sell
- stitch up in coordinating fabrics as a set
- offer more options by making them reversible or use PUL as a lining
- have your dishes stand out from the others at gatherings
- keep pesky flying critters out of your food or drink when outside
- I've even heard them used for sourdough starter or to let your dough rise!
These are reusable, washable, reversible and good for the environment!

- Rectangle Casserole/Baked Dish 9" x 13" (11.5" x 18")
- Rectangle Casserole/Baked Dish 6" x 10" (13.5" x 20")
Cutting with the Rectangle Templates:
Fold fabrics in Half. Place FOLD Line of template along the fold of fabric.
Half Circle, Quarter Circle, Complete Circle Options:
- 5.5” Quarter Circle
- 5.5” Half Circle
- 5.5” Complete Circle
- 7” Quarter Circle
- 7” Half Circle
- 7” Complete Circle
- 9” Quarter Circle
- 9” Half Circle
- 9” Complete Circle
- 12.5” Quarter Circle
- 12.5” Half Circle
- 12.5” Complete Circle
- 17” Quarter Circle
- 17” Half Circle
- 17” Complete Circle
Which Size Circle to use:
- Measure diameter of item (1 side to other across top).
- For smaller items (glasses, soda cans, etc. ) add 2" - 3".
- For larger items, add 4"-6". This gives plenty of overhang on each side.
Cutting with the Half Circle, Quarter Circle, Complete Circle Templates:
- For Half Circles, fold fabric in half & place FOLD Line of template along fold of fabric.
- For Quarter Circle Templates, fold fabric in Half in 1 direction then Fold in Half other direction, making 4 layers. Place straight edges of template along folds of fabric.
- For Complete Circle Templates, just 'cut off' or 'cut around'. (seen in videos)
Half Circles & Quarter Circles offer the best deal as you'll save a few dollars!
