Select the size Pressing Sheet you would like by using the "Size" Arrow.
I offer 2 sizes:
- 12" x 16"
- 16" x 24"
Select the size Pressing Sheet you would like by using the Size Arrow.
Either size works to protect your iron and your pressing surface but I prefer the larger size.
- First place the Teflon Pressing Sheet down on my pressing surface.
- Position materials on one half of the sheet.
- Fold the rest of the sheet over on top of materials to be pressed.
- Press. Total protection!
If you use fusibles for applique or fusible interfacings, then you're going to want this! It only takes one time trying to clean that gunk off your iron for you to wish you had one! (BTW - If you ever visit my studio, you'll never see me iron without this.)
And if you have a Cricut or Silhouette you already know how valuable this will be~
This will save your fabric, your iron, ironing board cover as well as your aggravation!
Use this on any safe ironing surface (not your cutting mat!) to ensure that those sticky materials won't transfer where you don't want them.
You can use this sheet in the following ways:
- Place fusible with glue side up. Place fabric down with right side up. Place Teflon Sheet on top. Press.
- Place Teflon Sheet down first. Place fabric with right side down. Place fusible with glue side down. Press.
- Place fusible with glue side up. Place fabric with right side up. Place Teflon Sheet on top. Press.
- Or, because this sheet is so large, use it my favorite way: Place Teflon sheet down, then fusible with glue side up, then fabric with right side up. Fold fusible sheet over covering your project. Press.
- This last method also works with double sided fusibles.
- Placing the fusible side up, then fabric, then the Teflon Sheet allows the heat to penetrate better for best adherence.
Be sure to read manufacturer's instructions on your particular fusible prior to using this Teflon Sheet. Some fusibles require steam. This sheet only works with a dry iron where the heat penetrates through the sheet.
Note: After pressing, if any fusible has gotten stuck to the Teflon sheet, grab an item like a credit card or hotel room key and simply scrape it off.
If you forget to do this, that fusible material, when heated up with the iron might just stick somewhere else!
Do not use on any surface that cannot handle the heat like your cutting mat.
