If you like my Box Bag Template, you'll love this 6 Sided Bag Template!

(As you can see, it makes the perfect Cat Basket~)

Like my Box Bag Template that is a bit wider, you'll cut & stitch 6 peices together rather than 4. As you might guess from the name of this template, you'll use 6 pieces to make the outside and 6 for the lining.  It adds a bit more shape and movement and I think it makes a cuter bag!

You can dress it up by adding a casing at the top for a drawstring like the gold sample shown here.  With a lightweight interfacing, it makes a nice bag, offering lots of opportunity to play with fabric choices.

Or use a Fusible Foam and a lightweight interfacing to create a fun storage basket like my black and white sample. 

Either style, pockets are easy to create using the template.  The gold has two pockets sewn at the same time as you sew the sides together.  I didn't add pockets on the black and white but next time I will add them for outside storage - how fun!

Check out the pics to see a brand new project created from a friend of a friend using this template!  She used the points as embellishments and added a drawstring at the opening.  She also created a sleeve inside the base to provide support and stiffness to the bottom.  How cool!
