Want to attach Martelli's Seam Guide Stitch in the Ditch Foot or Curve Master to your Bernina?  Or have a 'universal' foot that you want to attach to your Bernina?

You'll need a Bernina adapter. This is the adapter that I like!

This adapter is two pieces - a shank and a snap on adapter - so you can also attach other style Bernina feet to your machine as well.

This 2 piece adapter typically fits older machines. How do you know if this will work with your machine?  Take one of your feet and look at the top. If the top of your foot is rounded like in the pic then this adapter is for you.  If yours is straight with a notch in it, then you've got a Bernina that needs the New Style adapter. - sometimes called a #75. 

You can choose the 1 Piece (this item here) or the 2 Piece Adapter as they work very much the same.  This 2 Piece will allow you to attach a Gathering Foot or Ruffling Foot or even use the bottom portion on an old Singer Featherweight.

This will also turn your machine into a "Universal" machine!  If you own a machine that takes Universal feet (most Janome, New Home, Elna, Babylock, Brother, new White, new Kenmore, new Singer, Juki, etc), you will be able to attach those feet to your Bernina.

You can also use the bottom half of the adapter on low shank machines like Singer, Brother, Janome, Juki, Kenmore, Elna, White, Riccar, Euro-Pro... to attach 'universal' feet to those machines.

 That means it will allow you to attach newer Universal feet to your old Singer Featherweight!
